If you have always wanted to see the inside of your mouth on TV (and really, who doesn't) now you can. Our intra-oral camera uses a small pen-sized lens that is maneuvered around your month, transmitting enlarged images to a monitor.
Now you can see what we see, and be well-informed when discussing your treatment options. We will even give you a video tour of your mouth.
This is an indispensable diagnostic tool, since the camera can pick up things that may otherwise go unnoticed. Not only that, but we can store these images electronically, for quick and accurate reference during future appointments.
What's more, because our computer imaging capabilities, we do not have to reply on verbal explanations of how the outcome of the procedure will look - can show you. How would you look without that gap? After a whitening session? You can see for yourself before deciding on a course of treatment.
Oh, and when you have finished viewing the sights from within your mouth, you can change the channel, all of our operatories (comfortable dental chairs for our clients) come equipped with cable TV so you can sit back and watch your favorite show while we continue with your dental appointment. |
